![]() ![]() I guess they don't realize that Fed-X can give shipping info using the tracking number and they KNOW that a package was not received. I had to call to get to get order status from C2C at which time they gave me the tracking number which of course showed that 3 days after they claimed it was shipped, they had only created a label, thus the shipping info was still pending. I received no email with tracking info (also a claim by them) when my order supposedly "shipped". That then allows them to bill for the order and CLAIM that it has shipped. However, they apparently get around this by creating a Fed-X label but do not actually give the corresponding package to Fed-X to ship at that time. According to their emails, my credit card would not be billed until my order shipped. Their business practices are, AT BEST, highly questionable. I wanted so much to like this company, but I’m getting visions of under paid sweat-shop workers dying vats of shirts, their hands and feet forever stained. The photo shows the water after the 3rd handwashing. Glad I did but, I am now concerned with the amount of dye I have been exposed to. I normally wash new clothes before I wear them, this shirt went into the sink for hand washing first. The usually white labels ( Made in China) in the shirt were even dyed the same color. Looking carefully at the labels and construction it was easy to see that the shirt was not constructed of thread of this color. When I opened it in my kitchen, and set it down on a damp towel, the color bled onto the towel. the hue was not as pleasing as what is shown in the catalog for one. )its a short sleeve waffle weave polo shirt. my issue is with the last arrival, (which they apologized for the delay. ![]() One short sleeve shirt, I love the color but the construction is poor and fits oddly around the waist ( like a maternity shirt). None arrived before 7/1 and I just received the last shirt, 8/6. Initially purchased 4 (expensive ) summer shirts in the early spring for 2020. That's the call of the entrepreneur, I wish this company luck, and commend them for apparently-improved returns processing, having read older reviews. Why didn't I?, these folks seem to have a business model relying on the cheapest South Asian materials and labor (Bangladesh, India, etc.), prices corresponding to more premium materials and production, some really appealing designs, and solid presentation through their catalog and photography. I sincerely considered keeping my purchase because the appearance was that attractive. The change showed up the next business day. The back-ordered stuff I cancelled by e-mail, since it was matched to the returned stuff. I knew I was charged $7.50 for the return shipping label (cheap!) and I read my original shipping charge wouldn't be refunded (makes sense). It took an additional few days for Chase to process the refund onto my Chase Visa card. ![]() On Thursday the following week the refund showed up on my Carbon2Cobalt orders page. ![]() The UPS tracking showed it arrived around noon on a Friday. I taped up the box, slapped on the included label, drove it over the the UPS store, and off it went. $250 worth was back-ordered, and $500 arrived pretty quickly. Great catalog, right? The merchandise wasn't for me, though. I'm okay with these guys - and I returned everything. ![]()
